Puzzle 9: Sunset

How does DAY turn to NIGHT?
You won!

TRIVIA

Sunset refers to the moment when the Earth rotates and the sun disappears behind the horizon.

Between day and night there is a period of twilight where the sun is not visible, but we still have some light because of our atmosphere, which scatters and refracts the light.

There are three types of twilight:

  • Civil twilight: when the Sun is less than 6 degrees below the horizon/
  • Nautical twilight: when the Sun is between 6 and 12 degrees below the horizon/
  • Astronomical twilight: when the Sun is between 12 and 18 degrees below the horizon/

Time and Date: Twilight, Dawn, and Dusk
