Puzzle 12: Michelangelo

Michelangelo was a Renaissance artist who is considered by many to be the greatest sculptor of all time.

Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni was one of the greatest artists of his era. His best known work is David, an enormous 17 foot tall statue representing the Biblical figure. Michelangelo was only 26 years old when he received the commission.

Michelangelo is often quoted for his understanding of sculpture and even how these same skills apply to other tasks in life:

I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.
