Puzzle 7: Wishing Well

Can you make a WISH come TRUE?
You won!

TRIVIA

Wishing wells come from European folklore and the belief that certain sources of water can grant wishes.

The idea of water being a source of magic probably came from the fact that water was at times scarce and is so vital to our survival.

Germanic and Celtic people considered springs and wells to be sacred, believing them to house deities or to have been placed there by the gods. Small items and especially coins were thrown in as a gift to the deity in the hope a wish would be granted. In some traditions, the way the coin landed would determine whether or not the wish would be granted, with heads being positive and tails meaning the wish would be ignored.
